I have been here several times whenever I have to go to an appointment nearby. Their mocha drinks are great. I love the atmosphere here. Sometimes it could get busy but during off peak hours, it's perfect to hangout and have some chitchats with friends for a coffee date. It's a nice place to have coffee and catch up with a little bit of reading as well.
Good coffee and good service. You can sit outside and enjoy a good cup of coffee. They also have snacks.
Bean Around the World is a lovely coffee shop near VGH that I've visited a few times. Despite being busy, it's possible to find a quiet corner to sit and enjoy your coffee. The atmosphere is great for people-watching, with a mix of take-out customers and those relaxing. The customer service is excellent, even in the midst of a busy environment. They offer a variety of baked goods and sandwiches. I appreciated the ambiance, with nice decor and plenty of plants, and just enough seating to avoid feeling crowded.
Wow. A very nice coffee place. It was blustering and rainy outside but very warm and cozy inside. The breakfast sandwiches were very good, as were the scone and the Americanos. It is a very warm and comfortable coffee place with lots of knotty pine panelling, and subdued colouring which leads to a relaxing feel.
November 5 2020 - Addicted to this coffee. Thank you Ellie and Mike for your energetic positive personalities. You guys rock! It was so good I had to go back and get another decaf soy mocha! My first and second time here was a fantastic experience. All staff observed wearing masks and physical distancing signage along with hand sanitizer throughout shop. Plexiglass shield also present. This place is not only excellent coffee and cheerful superior customer service but they are doing a phenomenol job at preventing the spread of covid19 to staff and customers. Felt safe going into this coffee shop. I forgot to get a stamp card! Ill be back here for sure.
Great sandwiches, nice coffee, excellent blueberry lemon cake. Good friendly service. Love the counter along the window with its hanging plants. Despite being fairly small we found seating each time we went.

This Bean Around the World by VGH is on the small side and there aren’t as many food options as the other locations I’ve been to, but what they have is still really good. I got a tofu and chickpea wrap, a quinoa date square, and a beetroot ginger latte - all vegan, not really on purpose, but it’s great that they have vegan choices. I have only good things to say about everything - it was all very tasty and unique. The wrap was satisfying and perfectly grilled, the date square had an awesome melt-in-the-mouth texture, and the addition of ginger to the beetroot latte worked really well. It’s just a little on the expensive side, but I think the prices are pretty comparable to other places that serve food of this quality, which is unfortunate, but that’s more of a reflection on the current economy than their choices when everywhere is expensive. The barista was super friendly and the service was quick. The interior has a cozy rustic look and there’s a patio seating available. Very nice place!
